OGDEN, UTAH – May 1, 2019–Unrivaled announced today that its design for Munchkin’s Kind + Jugend 2018 trade show exhibit has been honored with another Gold Award in the International Exhibit Category of EXHIBITOR Magazine’s 33rd Annual Exhibit Design Awards.
After receiving this recognition in 2017, Munchkin and Unrivaled set out to exceed the previous year’s efforts by creating an immersive museum-like experience that utilized over 100 linear feet of video tiles and integrated thousands of Munchkin’s products throughout the exhibit. Unrivaled enhanced the exhibit with breathtaking backdrops of varying textures that blended colorful lifestyle imagery with dense arrangements of white-washed Munchkin products. To emphasize Munchkin’s philanthropic efforts Unrivaled built upon last year’s cafe experience by adding dawn-to-dusk illuminated environments and projection mapped images which were projected upon oversized Munchkin products, highlighting the story of the endangered animals they support.
This award comes on the heels of other accolades this design has received, including a Silver Award for Best Trade Show Exhibit in the 2018 Experience Design & Technology Awards and a Bronze Award for Print/Exhibit/Displays in the 2018 International Design Awards. Making this the fifth award for Unrivaled and Munchkin on their two exhibit designs during the last two years.
The Exhibit Design Awards were established in 1986 to honor the world’s best trade show exhibit designs. The international competition is judged by world-renowned designers who consider each entry’s aesthetics, functionality and innovation.
