OGDEN, UTAH – MAY 1, 2018—Unrivaled announced today that its design for Munchkin’s Kind + Jugend 2017 exhibit has been honored with a Gold Award in the International Exhibit Category of EXHIBITOR Magazine’s 32nd Annual Exhibit Design Awards. Established in 1986, the Exhibit Design Awards honor the world’s best trade show exhibit designs. The international competition was judged by world-renowned designers, who considered each entry’s aesthetics, functionality, and innovation. Winning designs are showcased in a feature article in the May 2018 issue of EXHIBITOR magazine and at www.ExhibitorOnline.com.
This award comes on the heels of other accolades this design has received, including a Bronze Award for Best Trade Show Exhibit in the 2017 Experience Design & Technology Awards.
Munchkin teamed up with Unrivaled to create an all encompassing brand experience within their exhibit that spoke to Munchkin’s love of design, art, and philanthropic pursuits. This was accomplished by creating an exhibit that acted as a blank canvas which was then filled with bold and colorful compositions using Munchkin product as the medium.
The inside of the exhibit featured product displays, art installations, sculptures, and the Orca Lounge—a special meeting space where visitors were treated with refreshments while immersed in an under-the-waves environment built to reflect Munchkin’s dedication to their Orcas Live In Oceans campaign. In total over 10,000 products were artfully used to create a brand experience that jurors claimed was “head and shoulders above all other product presentations in the competition.”
